Filming Blog
During filming, we will be using a variety of shots, angles, movements, and editing to create the intended visual effect. First, we will be using a point of view shot to show how it looks to walk into band practice for the first time. This shot will be from the new girls perspective. We will then fade out and fade in to the next scene. The next shot will be a tracking shot showing a majorette practicing. This will be at eye level and show only the one majorette practicing with her baton. We will then fade out and in to the scene with the percussionist practicing. This will be a long shot also. After the percussionist is shown, we will bhe using a jump show to cut to the next day. We'll take an extreme close up of the percussionist putting on and tying her Nike shoes. We will also do the same for the majorette. Then it will go back to a long shot to show the majorette practicing again and show her improvement after putting on her Nike shoes. It will then fade out and in to show a long shot of the percussionist practicing and show her improvement in performance after putting on her Nike. There will then be a four shot of the new girl with her new group of friends. The screen will then go to a black screen that says "Just Do It".
For sound, we will be adding intense action music to add more emphasis to the commercial. We will also add special effects such as a bomb sound to show when something was bad, or clapping to show when something was good. In this commercial there will be no dialogue. There will be no voiceover either. These effects will make it seem more like a Nike commercial.
