Genre Research: You Get Me

  1. Bright lighting creates a creepy yet angelic mood it seems almost too perfect
  2. Lighting shifts and gets more dramatic
  3. Lighting is kind of gray
  4. After a girl has an allergic reaction caused by the main antagonist, there was a shot of her fallen drink dripping like blood
  5. The main antagonist has a sound motif every time she’s somewhere she’s not supposed to be
  6. Ambient sounds are a common occurrence in this movie, they help enhance scenes especially when the main antagonist is being a creep
  7. As the plot advances, the color of the lighting progressively moves to the cooler side of the spectrum. This contributes to the eerie/psychopathic energy given off by the main antagonist
